Senior Social Media Expert

ICF NEXT is looking for a Senior Social Media Expert to work from one of our client's premises in Brussels. The position is open to employees and freelancers.

The responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and analysis of social media posts related to EU matters thus contributing to a better understanding of news/posts/reactions and their impact
• Identifies threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the contracting authority's brand and reports back to internal stakeholders.
• Gather, analyse, and interpret social data, using the analytics tools provided by the client in order to provide actionable insights to optimise the social media strategy.
• Provide regular and ad hoc reporting, analysis, and insights around social behaviour.
• Analyse key trends in relevant social media content and activities.
• Contribute to the analysis of traditional media and integrate the finding of the social media analysis in order to obtain a global view and perspective of the media reactions related to EU matters.
• Research content mainly on social media complementing the content available in traditional media and present the finding to relevant stakeholders.
• Interpret multiple data sources to find and tell the story behind the numbers.
• Ensure that the deliverables fulfil the business requirements defined by the contracting authority.
• Keep track of the evolution of the social media environment and identify emerging trends, relevant contributors, platforms, constantly adapting working methods, monitored platforms / accounts and queries.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience;

- English C1 level, knowledge of other EU languages a plus
