Hiring: Senior HR Consultant / HR–SAP HCM Project Lead

Start: Immediate

Hybrid: 50% Remote/Brussels

Languages: English + French + Dutch (C1 required)

Rate: 600 Euros per day

About the Role

We are searching for an experienced Senior HR Consultant / HR–SAP HCM Functional Lead to support a long‑term transformation programme.

In this role, you will act as the critical link between HR business stakeholders and SAP HCM functional teams. You will analyse HR processes, lead workshops, convert business needs into structured documentation, and guide SAP analysts throughout the build and hypercare phases.

This is an ideal assignment for a highly experienced HR professional who combines deep HR domain knowledge, SAP HCM expertise, and strong communication & coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & HR Expertise

• Understand HR business processes and emerging needs.
• Support HR teams in decision‑making based on HR, legal and system constraints.
• Lead workshops with HR, ICT and business stakeholders.

SAP HCM Collaboration

• Work closely with HR business analysts and SAP functional analysts.
• Translate business requirements (incl. Belgian legislation & SAP landscape) into clear, structured documentation.
• Challenge assumptions, validate feasibility and ensure alignment with existing SAP architecture.
• Guide and support analysts in writing functional specifications and monitoring deliverables.

Project Leadership

• Coordinate project scope, budget, planning and quality.
• Act as SPOC throughout analysis, build, testing and hypercare phases.
• Support change management: deliver training, documentation and test support.

Required Experience & Skills:

Languages

• Trilingual: English, French and Dutch at C1 level.

HR Expertise

• 10+ years of experience as an HR Consultant or HR Expert.

Strong knowledge of:

• Recruitment
• Belgian social law
• Personnel administration & social affairs
• Payroll processes

SAP HCM Skills:

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP HCM, specifically:

• Time Management
• CATS
• Experience in:
• Business analysis
• Translating needs into structured documentation
• Supporting the creation of functional specifications
• Training & test support
• Coordination with ICT teams

Project & Communication Skills

• 5+ years project management experience.
• Proven ability to lead workshops and training sessions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Known for being collaborative, solution‑oriented and customer‑focused.
