Job Opening: Family Office Investment Analyst/Associate

Location: Zaventem, Belgium (Min. 3 days per week in the office)

Language: Fluent in Dutch and English is a must (oral and written); French is a strong plus.

Infinitum Family Office is an independent, research-driven multi-family office in growth mode. We analyze and oversee a broad spectrum of public and private investments for a select group of families. With a small, entrepreneurial team, we work closely together and build sustainable, long-term relationships with our clients.


Your role

We are looking for an Investment Analyst or (Senior) Associate (2–5 years of experience) with a strong quantitative mindset and modelling capabilities.


Research & Modelling (±40%):

  • Analyse academic research, macro papers, IC materials and thematic studies.
  • Develop, refine and maintain quantitative investment models, including asset allocation (risk/return/covariance), risk/return analyses (e.g. Sharpe ratio's) and private asset fund cash flow forecasting models. 
  • Research on liquid and illiquid asset classes (including CLOs, ABS, crypto, structured products, illiquid infrastructure) and translate findings into investment parameters and actionable decision frameworks.
  • Contribute to monthly and quarterly market publications.


Portfolio Monitoring, Analysis & Reporting (±40%):

  • Perform in-depth analyses of both liquid portfolios and private asset fund portfolios on a quarterly and semi-annual basis.
  • Over time, take ownership of the end-to-end process from data collection and model input, through analytical interpretation to delivering clear and decision-oriented reportings.
  • Continuously challenge and refine existing frameworks, methodologies and reporting approaches, with a view to increasing analytical depth, efficiency and decision relevance.


General tasks (±20%):

  • Administration, compliance, risk awareness, and contributing to our general knowledge base.


What we are looking for

  • Master’s degree in financial or business engineering, mathematics, finance, (applied) economics or similar with a strong mathematical/modelling component.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in portfolio/asset management, or a family office environment.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; coding (Python) and AI productivity skills are a strong plus.
  • Genuine interest in financial markets and a habit of following financial news daily.
  • Independent, detail-oriented, flexible, a drive for top-quality work, and above all, a long-term mindset.
  • Affinity with academic research and the ability to translate it into practical insights/models.
