Position Overview:

Program Leadership & Strategy:

  • Define and articulate the internal project vision, scope, and objectives, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
  • Act as the primary internal stakeholder for the program, representing the organization's interests with the implementation supplier.

Project Governance & Reporting:

  • Establish and maintain a clear project governance framework, defining roles, responsibilities, decision-making processes, and escalation paths.
  • Organize and facilitate regular Project Steering Committee (SteerCo) meetings, preparing agendas, producing minutes, and ensuring follow-up on decisions and actions.
  • Define and implement escalation procedures for critical issues, risks, and scope changes, ensuring timely resolution and communication to relevant stakeholders and the SteerCo.
  • Establish and maintain clear communication channels and reporting mechanisms to keep stakeholders informed of project status, risks, and issues.
  • Prepare and present executive-level progress reports to the Steering Committee and senior leadership.


What you'll do:

Supplier Management:

  • Oversee and manage the relationship with the selected implementation supplier, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements, budget, scope, and deliverables.
  • Monitor the supplier's progress against the agreed-upon project plan and milestones.
  • Facilitate effective communication and issue resolution between internal teams and the supplier.
  • Project Planning & Execution:
  • Develop and manage detailed work plans, including task assignments, deadlines, and dependencies for internal activities.
  • Track project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and escalation paths.
  • Oversee the integration of Microsoft 365 services (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint), the Azure data platform components, and the Copilot enablement strategy.

Change Management & Adoption (with a M365 & Copilot focus):

  • Work closely with internal communications and training teams to develop and execute a robust management strategy.
  • Specifically, it drive the understanding and adoption of new capabilities across various business functions.
  • Monitor user feedback and adoption rates, iterating on the management approach as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements


What you bring:

  • Proven experience (7+ years) managing complex IT programs/projects, preferably in digital transformation or enterprise software implementation within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Understanding of the unique regulatory, compliance, security, and data privacy requirements prevalent in financial institutions.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and ability to apply them pragmatically.
  • In-depth understanding of Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, etc.) from an enterprise deployment and adoption perspective.
  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud platform and its data platform components (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Power BI) and their integration with Microsoft 365.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale third-party implementers/integrators.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executive leadership.
  • Experience driving user adoption of new technologies in a large organization.
  • Ability to identify and address resistance to change, particularly regarding AI-powered tools like Copilot.
