Technical Project Manager - Software Solution Specialist

Are you excited by the idea of shaping the future of energy and driving impactful IT projects? We're looking for an experienced Software Solution Specialist / IT Project Manager to lead and deliver high-value IT initiatives within a dynamic, international environment. As a key technical expert, you will drive the implementation, integration, and optimization of software solutions across corporate business domains. Your role includes Fit-gap analyses to assess configuration vs. custom development Translating user stories ⇒ functional & technical requirements Leading software integration across systems & platforms Coordinating with vendors, architects, and development teams Contributing to solution architecture & product roadmap Ensuring compliance with IT security & technology standards Supporting testing for domain-specific features when needed What you bring Education & languages: Bachelor's/Master's in Applied IT (electricity specialization = strong plus) Fluent French or Dutch, with excellent English Experience: Several years as an IT Project Manager (RFI/RFP processes, product selection, implementation oversight) Strong experience with standard market software products Ability to collaborate with architects & developers Proven expertise with Prince2, Agile methodologies Skilled in writing functional designs and specifications Your strengths: Analytical mindset & strong organizational skills Excellent communication—technical, conceptual, and management-level Customer-oriented, autonomous, able to work in international & remote teams Willingness to travel abroad a few days per month Curiosity for the latest IT advancements Nice to have: Experience in the energy, electricity, or asset management sectors
