Senior Project Manager
For a major Belgian player active in the energy sector, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead a strategic initiative contributing to the evolution of the Belgian and European energy landscape.
You will work in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment and contribute to projects that support the energy transition.
Role and responsibilities
Lead and coordinate large-scale strategic projects in the energy sector
Operate in a complex stakeholder environment, including regulators, DSOs, and internal teams
Steer the creation of a new company, covering legal, regulatory, and financial workstreams
Act as single point of contact for internal stakeholders and external vendors
Safeguard internal priorities within vendor implementation roadmaps
Drive delivery of common TSO and DSO tooling initiatives
Facilitate executive-level alignment on strategic decisions
Act as Product Owner for internal implementation teams
Manage dependencies and contribute to business architecture discussions
Requirements
Excellent communication skills in Dutch and or French, and English
Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects in the energy sector
Strong knowledge of transmission and distribution systems, regulation, and market dynamics
Ability to operate in regulatory, legal, and financial complexity
Strong facilitation and stakeholder alignment skills
Practical information
Location: Brussels area (Empereur)
Hybrid setup, 2 days on-site per week
For non-EU candidates, a valid Belgian work and residence permit is required
