Junior Project Manager Robotics

We're looking for a Junior Project Manager with an engineering degree and hands-on experience in a Linux environment and capable of understanding (at a high level) C++ and Python code created by our senior developers.

For this role, you are part of the team and not above the team. You will not be burdened with team performance management nor any HR related tasks. You work on-site in our main office in Leuven.

You love getting your hands dirty and learning at lightning speed. Intermodalics is a workplace with very diverse projects in robotics, you don't need to understand how the details work, but what works and what doesn't - and provide valuable insights in progress and next problems to tackle.

You love to find out - synthesize - communicate.

For this job:

• You have the helicopter view over our robotics software projects and are the sparring partner for our senior software development team.
• You monitor and manage scope and priorities in order to deliver on time.
• You oversee, structure and do the communication with our project customers together with the senior engineers
• You identify, propose and implement process improvements in our workflow and management of technical debt.
• You run our robotic lab in a low-touch day-to-day setting, delegating tasks where you see fit, taking initiative where required.
• You have the mindset of an engineer (The best part is no part, you know the drill....)
