Planning and Reporting Officer


Your Work Context

For this position, fluent knowledge of the Dutch language is a prerequisite.

Jan De Nul Group has been engaged for many years in dredging activities, but also in specialized offshore services for the renewable energy market. These services can be categorized as follows: seabed intervention works, subsea installation of rock protection for offshore elements and ballasting of concrete elements for offshore structures, offshore heavy lifting including the installation of foundations and wind turbines for offshore wind farms, and finally, the installation of subsea energy and data transmission cables.

Due to the strong growth within the offshore renewable energy market, the Project Management team is expanding further and is looking for a Planning & Reporting Officer.

Your Role

In this role, you play an important part in the follow-up and coordination of our projects. You ensure that schedules and reports are accurately maintained and that all documentation is organized and up to date. Thanks to your precision and communicative approach, you help the project team meet deadlines and ensure smooth information flow between the various departments and partners.

Your responsibilities:

  • Project planning and follow-up:

You keep the project schedule up to date and monitor progress. You collect data and assist in preparing progress reports.

  • Reporting:

You gather and compile input from various departments and external partners to create clear reports and summaries.

  • Document management:

You prepare overviews of outstanding documents and send reminders and notifications to the responsible colleagues.

  • Supporting the project team:

You assist with the start of new projects and the preparation of project documentation. You also provide administrative support in updating project structures and schedules. You manage documents and requirements throughout the different phases of a project.

What do you need to have?

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Organisation & Management, Business & Languages, Office Management, or a similar field.
  • You have strong administrative skills and enjoy working in a structured and accurate manner.
  • Experience in project administration or document management is an asset, but not a requirement.
  • Knowledge of planning or reporting tools (such as Primavera P6) is an advantage, but internal training will be provided.
  • You communicate easily with colleagues from different departments.
  • You speak and write fluent Dutch and English.
