Job Description
The accountant organizes, analyses, and maintains the company's financial records and ensures the company complies with all government rules and regulations.
The goal is to accurately record and report the company's financial performance, provide reliable financial information to stakeholders, and ensure the organization's fiscal stability and growth.
Key Responsibilities
You are responsible for general accounting tasks such as processing incoming invoices, declarations, processing bank and credit cards statements, assist in the month-end and year-end closing of all group entities, coordinate with auditors and external advisors and support the complete billing cycle. Next to this, you will also be responsible for the taxes of all entities and assist in monthly and quarterly VAT returns.
Bank transactions and budget preparations will also be a part of your role as Accountant. This includes preparing and setting up the weekly payments and assisting in the preparation of the yearly budget by giving insights on the daily accounting activities.

And of course you will be working closely with different departments, advising them on revenue and costs.
Qualifications
You have strong technical accounting knowledge
You have experience in annual audits
You have knowledge of relevant regulations such as IFRS, GAAP, …
Your knowledge of tax law and accounting regulations are up to date
Preferably you have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field and have a first experience in finance or accounting
