Test & Commissioning Engineer

For our client specialized in railway solutions, we are actively looking for a Test & Commissioning Engineer who will focus on the Brussels Metro Project.

Your responsibilities:

• Coordinate the planning and activities for test and commissioning localized in Brussels
• Develop reports and metrics for monitoring and reporting status of all planned activities across multiple project phases
• Support the local test and commissioning lead in preparing correspondence and formal responses to the end client
• Ensure effective collaboration for the planning and preparation of continuous client demonstrations, site testing, and laboratory testing
• Organize the feedback from testing campaigns on-site and in the lab effectively using a defined defect management and reporting process
• Development of site test procedures including creation, review, and client acceptance

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Computer Science)
• Minimum of 3-5 years working experience in a technical software leadership role preferably test oriented
• 2 years working experience in the railway sector.
• Languages: Good level of English and French, both technical and fluent. Italian proficiency will be considered a plus.
• Expertise using project management practices and tools
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
• Attention to detail and continuously evaluating the short-term and long-term priorities of the test and commissioning team’s activities
• Ability to plan, coordinate and prioritize workloads independently and proactively
• Strong Testing acumen with the ability to generate, review, and execute test cases in a Linux based software environment
• Strong Networking knowledge and troubleshooting
• Strong IT skills, in particular high proficiency in the use of MS Office Applications (i.e., PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and MS Project)
• Strong written skills, excellent written English and able to produce precise and concise reports and meeting notes
