Freelance IT DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to support a cloud migration program for a Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) environment. You will play a key role in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, modernizing deployment practices, and supporting the migration of applications and infrastructure to cloud-native and containerized platforms.

This position is ideal for someone with a solid DevOps background, hands-on CI/CD expertise, and practical experience with container technologies in cloud or hybrid environments.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with SME stakeholders and technical teams to support migration of applications and services to the cloud.
• Design, build, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Support the containerization of applications using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes or other platforms.
• Assist in infrastructure provisioning and automation using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to support cloud-native operations.
• Work closely with developers, architects, and cloud engineers to ensure secure, scalable deployments.
• Participate in environment setup, build and release automation, and configuration management.
• Maintain detailed documentation of DevOps processes, environments, and deployment configurations.
