Over de job – Als Precisietechnieker maak je deel uit van het Custom Build team en ben je verantwoordelijk voor de nauwkeurige assemblage van klantgerichte oplossingen. Je speelt een cruciale rol in de elektrische en mechanische integratie van onze op maakt gemaakte systemen en werkt hiervoor nauw samen met onze ingenieurs en projectleiders.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Je assembleert machines op maat van de klant en gebaseerd op instructies van de ingenieurs.
• Je hebt een sleutelrol in de elektrische aspecten van de installaties (e.g. kabels, connectoren, automatische sturingen, soldering,….).
• Je verifieert de kwaliteit van de binnenkomende componenten van onze leveranciers (vb. elektriciteitskabels).
• Je test de machines volgens de specificaties en je bereidt de finale acceptatietesten voor.
• Je bouwt meetopstellingen voor het valideren van subassemblages en je voert metingen uit op dergelijke opstellingen gebaseerd op input van de ingenieurs.
• Je onderzoekt storingen en afwijkingen als de performantie van de machine niet binnen de toleranties is; vervolgens zoek je actief naar oplossingen die je dan ook installeert.
• Je staat open voor installaties en onderhoudsbeurten van de systemen in het buitenland (zowel binnen als buiten Europa)
• Je assisteert de Application Engineering Manager om de projecten vlot te laten verlopen.

Vaardigheden

• Je hebt een technische opleiding in de elektromechanica genoten.
• Je staat open om nieuwe dingen te leren, hiervoor voorzien we een on-the-job-opleiding.
• Je hebt een goede kennis van elektriciteit, automatisatie, solderen en een algemene sterke kennis mechanica.
• Je kan elektronische en technische schema’s lezen en begrijpen.
• Je bent gepassioneerd door kwaliteit en precisie.
• Je bent gemotiveerd, flexibel en hebt de nodige zelfdiscipline.
• Je kan zeer goed zelfstandig, maar ook in teamverband werken.

PRECISION TECHNICIAN

To achieve this, we rely on an excellent team of PhDs, development engineers, and well-trained technicians.

About the Role - As a Precision Technician, you will be part of the Custom Build team and responsible for the precise assembly of customer-specific solutions. You play a crucial role in the electrical and mechanical integration of our tailor-made systems and work closely with our engineers and project leaders.

Responsibilities

• You assemble machines customized to the client's needs, based on instructions from the engineers.
• You play a key role in the electrical aspects of the installations (e.g., cables, connectors, automated controls, soldering, etc.).
• You verify the quality of incoming components from our suppliers (e.g., electrical cables).
• You test the machines according to specifications and prepare the final acceptance tests.
• You build measurement setups for validating subassemblies and perform measurements on these setups based on input from the engineers.
• You investigate malfunctions and deviations when the machine’s performance is outside the allowed tolerances; you then actively seek and implement solutions.
• You are open to performing installations and maintenance work on systems abroad (both within and outside of Europe).
• You assist the Application Engineering Manager in ensuring smooth project execution.

Skills

• You have a technical degree in electromechanics.
• You are open to learning new things – we provide on-the-job training.
• You have a solid knowledge of electricity, automation, soldering, and a strong general knowledge of mechanics.
• You can read and understand electronic and technical schematics.
• You are passionate about quality and precision.
• You are motivated, flexible, and possess the necessary self-discipline.
• You can work well independently as well as in a team.
