As Microsoft Practice Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving our Microsoft-focused practice, fostering team excellence, and shaping the future of our service offering.

YOUR ROLE: A Blend of Strategy, Tech & Leadership

As Microsoft Practice Lead, you’ll be a key player in three core areas:

1. Technical Expertise

• Act as subject matter expert for Data & AI in Azure
• Design and oversee robust technical architectures tailored to client needs
• Keep up with industry trends and Microsoft’s evolving ecosystem
• Build and maintain a strong partnership with Microsoft, staying aligned with their latest innovations

2. People Leadership

• Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented team culture
• Mentor and coach consultants throughout their careers at LACO
• Lead performance reviews, providing feedback and clear development paths
• Help recruit new talent by joining final-stage interviews
• Launch learning and development initiatives to ensure team growth
• Define and evolve the vision and strategy of the Microsoft practice in line with LACO’s overall goals

3. Business Development

• Collaborate with sales on client proposals and RFPs
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients—challenging their status quo and offering tailored solutions
• Represent LACO at industry events, conferences, and career fairs
• Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders as account lead

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

We’re looking for someone who combines tech, people, and business:

• 2+ years of experience leading a Microsoft Data & AI or analytics team
• Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and Azure Synapse
• Deep knowledge of data engineering, data architecture, and data analysis
• Experience with RFPs and business development
• A strategic mindset, able to balance technical and operational priorities
• People-first approach—you love mentoring and seeing others grow
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
