Solo Legal Counsel

Robert Half is currently looking for a Solo Legal Counsel (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in West-Vlaanderen .

Our client is an international company active in the manufacturing sector .

As Legal Counsel (m/f/x) you will be responsible for:

• Proactively advising on legal risks, monitoring claims and disputes, and translating complex issues into clear insights.
• Supporting contract management: reviewing, negotiating, and drafting contracts with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Additionally, you will work on building an efficient and organized contract management system.
• Managing the insurance portfolio, including claims and damage follow-up, in cooperation with the CEO/CFO.
• Responsible for corporate housekeeping (among which organizing and minute-taking of board of directors and shareholders' meetings) and contributing to the further development of governance and ethics within the organization.
• Collaborating closely with management and reporting directly to the CEO/CFO.

The required profile for the Solo Legal Counsel (m/f/x) position:

You possess:

• A Master's degree in Law or equivalent experience, with at least three years of experience as an in-house legal counsel or in a similar role.
• Given the international work environment, work experience in English is recommended but not a decisive factor.

You are:

• Solution-oriented and hands-on, with the ability to make complex legal matters understandable.
• Capable of collaborating effectively with both team members and management.
