The role
This role is primarily a field based role with 60% time allocation for field activities across the Benelux region. The Field Medical Advisor will build a key external expert network through a continuum of impactful scientific interactions on thrombosis and oncology topics across the Benelux markets and will also support training initiatives, LMR processes and congress preparations.

Your Responsibilities
As a Field Medical Advisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Build and maintain a network of key external experts (haematologists, oncologists, surgeons, pharmacists, nurses and other HCPs) and deliver impactful scientific interactions on thrombosis and oncology
• Act as a medical point of contact for customer queries arising from new accounts to support the wider business strategy
• Prepare and present scientific materials at customer sites, congresses and national/international booths
• Capture and document interactions in Veeva CRM, gather field insights and feed these into Global Medical Affairs and local business units
• Identify investigator-initiated study opportunities and contribute to the Benelux Medical Strategy Plan
• Support training, LMR reviews and provide medical input to sales and marketing (presentations, knowledge assessments, review of materials)

Your Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have the following qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant experience within Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry
• Degree in life sciences (MSc/PhD or equivalent preferred)
• Strong scientific and product knowledge in thrombosis/critical care and excellent verbal presentation skills
• Solid understanding of national laws, regulations and industry codes of conduct
• Demonstrated ability to build networks, communicate effectively, collaborate with cross‑functional teams and act in an action‑oriented manner
• Comfortable using CRM tools (Veeva) and contributing to strategy, insights and medical education

Your new team
You will report to the Head of Global Medical Affairs - Critical Care Business Unit and work closely with the Benelux Business Unit Lead and Key Account Managers to drive local scientific initiatives. Day-to-day collaboration will include Global Medical Information and the wider LEO Pharma Medical community (including the MSL community and iM3 meetings) to share insights, align on strategy and support cross‑functional activities. The role has no direct reports but holds responsibility for the Benelux medical budget and for establishing a credible scientific presence for LEO in key accounts
