Junior Designer

Are you ready to create, design and elevate the collections of a leading and 100% Belgian fashion retailer?

To strengthen our Design department, we are looking for a Junior Fashion Designer. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a creative and technically skilled individual who is passionate about fashion and eager to contribute to the Lolaliza DNA.

You will work closely with our Senior Designer and collaborate directly with the Chief Product & Marketing Officer (CPMO), gaining exposure to both creative and strategic aspects of design and brand development.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist designers and modelists in daily tasks.
• • Create global overviews of designs and concepts.
• Develop new technical files and support fittings, including measurement control.
• Conduct design research and prepare briefs.
• Analyse market trends and catwalk inspirations to ensure alignment with Lolaliza's DNA.
• Support the CPMO during marketing shoots by:
• • Identifying key silhouettes with the CPMO.
• Coordinating samples with the buying team.
• Preparing silhouettes, dressing models, and ensuring smooth logistics during shoots.
• Finalising recap documents with silhouettes.
• Preparing samples for press and packshot.

Who are you?

• Recently graduated or with up to a few years of relevant experience.
• Strong drawing and sketching skills (by hand and digital).
• Technical knowledge of garment measurement, construction, and fitting.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and PowerPoint.
• Passionate about fashion with strong analytical skills to understand both the market and Lolaliza DNA.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.
• Flexible, agile, and highly organised.
• Driving licence required (mobility required for shootings)
