Freelance Accounts Receivable Accountant

🌟 We’re looking for a Freelance Accounts Receivable Accountant (AR) for one of our customers – Brussels Area

Responsibilities

• Send payment reminders and follow up with customers via phone and written communication
• Provide requested documents (e.g., invoice copies) to customers and stakeholders
• Handle collection cases, liaise with collection agencies and lawyers and process incoming correspondence
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer invoices
• Reconcile AR accounts, resolve discrepancies and support month-end closing activities
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing issues and improve processes

What we expect from you

• Strong accuracy, professionalism and organizational skills
• Excellent communication abilities and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
• Team player with respect for others, eager to share knowledge and step out of your comfort zone
• Flexible in handling a mix of accounting and administrative tasks
• Language skills: you are fluent in Dutch or French; English is considered a strong plus
