SENIOR Testor & Customer Support Officer

In order to strengthen its Frontline and Quality Management team, MAINSYS is looking for an IT employee in the banking sector whose main tasks will be to

• Test the banking applications developed and maintained by us
• Handle application incidents submitted by our clients within the contractual deadlines agreed between the parties
• Propose short-term solutions (workarounds) to incidents
• Analyse the functional impact of incidents and/or bugs on the working of our applications
• Answer functional questions about our applications
• Perform a first functional analysis to determine the potential source of bugs encountered and report them to the development teams

Your profile

• You have at least one year of experience in a similar role (mandatory)
• You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience
• You have practical knowledge of SQL, such as consulting databases via complex queries, and are able to consult application logs
• You have at least a basic functional knowledge of the banking world, particularly credits, and you are willing to learn more.
• You are self-reliant, able to prioritise your work and manage peaks in workload
• You have good analytical skills and are able to propose short- and long-term solutions
• You are rigorous and methodical, and you understand that testing is a fundamental activity that enables us to deliver quality to our customers
• You enjoy working in a team
• You are fluent in French or Dutch and have a basic knowledge of the other language. English is a plus.
• You communicate in a structured and precise manner, both in writing and orally
• You hold a valid work permit
