E-commerce Digital Lead

Ecommerce Digital Lead

Location: Antwerp, Belgium

Salary: €80,000 + Benefits

Hybrid Working & International Travel Required

Are you a digital leader ready to take on a high-impact role in a global manufacturing powerhouse? Our client is driving a bold digital transformation, and they’re on the lookout for a strategic and hands-on Ecommerce Digital Lead to shape and execute a best-in-class digital commerce strategy.

This is your chance to be at the forefront of a pan-European digital evolution — enhancing online customer journeys, unlocking new revenue channels, and integrating cutting-edge e-commerce platforms with complex operational systems.

The Role

As Ecommerce Digital Lead, you’ll:

• Own and drive the B2B/B2C e-commerce roadmap across multiple regions

• Lead platform design, roll-out and optimisation to support business growth

• Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams to bridge the gap between physical operations and digital touchpoints

• Drive the integration of backend systems (ERP, CRM) to enable seamless self-service and transactional capabilities

• Champion customer-first digital experiences with a focus on UX, personalisation, and content strategy

• Use data, analytics and KPIs to inform and refine the digital journey

• Lead relationships with 3rd-party vendors and tech partners

• Work across a complex matrix organisation — so stakeholder engagement is key

What We’re Looking For

• Proven digital leader with 5+ years of e-commerce/digital programme delivery experience

• Background in a large-scale business, ideally within the manufacturing or industrial sectors

• Deep knowledge of UX/UI, customer lifecycle, digital sales tools, and content strategies

• Strong grasp of APIs, architecture, and platform integration — you're comfortable having technical conversations

• Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Experience working in regulated or ISO-compliant environments is a plus

• Degree-qualified in Digital Media, Business, Marketing or a relevant technical field

• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and tools like MS Project, Visio, Excel etc. would be beneficial

This is more than just another e-commerce role — it’s an opportunity to shape the digital future of a business that touches global markets and serves a vast industrial customer base.
