Oncology Sales Specialist


Our client, a pharmaceutical company with innovative medicines for people with serious diseases, is looking for a passionate and driven Oncology Sales Specialist to take on a pivotal role in achieving commercial goals and fostering a high-performance culture.


In this role, you will manage your assigned territory, expertly plan and oversee key accounts, and implement a targeted and strategic approach to sales. Your efforts will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes and advancing the field of oncology.

Function

As Oncology Sales Specialist, your day may include:

  • Building and maintaining high-quality interactions with healthcare professionals (HCPs) by staying updated on scientific knowledge, product information, and brand messaging while executing sales and marketing plans effectively.
  • Communicating the brand’s value proposition to HCPs through impactful messaging.
  • Developing and implementing local account plans based on market insights and key data sources, aligned with the overarching Brand Plan.
  • Collaborating with medical colleagues to support regional programs and activities tailored to HCP needs.
  • Utilizing various communication channels, including digital platforms, to maximize market presence and engagement.
  • Proactively reporting results and developments to the leadership team in a clear and timely manner.


Profile

To be considered for this opportunity, you should:

  • Hold the necessary qualifications to represent pharmaceutical products in your region.
  • Have a minimum of 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, specifically in Oncology.
  • Be comfortable with regular travel and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Be fluent in conversational English and proficient in the local language (NL).
  • You are passionate about delivering key messages to HCPs and ensuring objectives are met with professionalism and integrity.
  • You thrive in collaborative environments and excel at building strong partnerships both internally and externally.
  • You are enthusiastic about leveraging multiple communication channels (e.g., face-to-face meetings, remote calls, e-mails, digital platforms) to optimize customer engagement.
  • You are adaptable and ready to succeed in a dynamic, “start-up” team environment.
