Business Analyst | Energy & Public Transport | Belgium (Hybrid)

At Methis Consulting, you’ll join a fast-growing business consultancy (85+ colleagues in Belgium & the Netherlands) working on the big challenges in energy transition and public transport transformation. You’ll integrate into client teams and help translate business needs into solutions that actually get delivered. Your impact

As a Business Analyst at Methis Consulting Belgium, you’ll work on high-impact assignments at top-tier organizations in the energy and mobility ecosystem. You’ll bridge business and IT: from discovery and functional design to implementation support and testing.

What you’ll do

• Capture and structure business needs through workshops, interviews and process analysis
• Translate needs into functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Design and document end-to-end solutions (processes, flows, functional scope, edge cases)
• Align stakeholders and clarify trade-offs to keep delivery moving
• Collaborate daily with delivery teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented correctly
• Validate implementations through functional testing and support UAT with key users
• Contribute to continuous improvement: better ways of working, stronger templates, sharper analysis

What you bring (must-have)

• Master’s degree in a management or technology-oriented field (Business Economics, Business Engineering, ICT, …)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; you work structured and detail-oriented
• Strong communication: you can work confidently with business and IT stakeholders
• Languages: native Dutch or French, and able to work in the other language at minimum B2
• You can manage multiple priorities and keep stakeholders aligned

Nice to have (strong plus)

• Experience in energy, utilities, public transport, or regulated environments
• Familiarity with Agile delivery (Scrum / SAFe), JIRA/Azure DevOps, BPMN, testing/UAT
• Experience with data flows, integrations, or ERP/CRM landscapes (context-dependent)
