Warehouse Logistics Manager


Company Overview

Procoplast is an industrial company specialized in high-value-added plastic injection, manufacturing parts for the automotive sector for over 30 years. Since 2017, Procoplast has been part of the American group Methode Electronics, which operates internationally with production sites around the world.

Our machinery fleet consists of numerous automated systems and injection molding machines distributed across 45 production lines. Join our 120 employees in a modern and innovative environment located just minutes from the Welkenraedt highway exit in Belgium.


Responsibilities:

Operations and Logistics Management

  • Oversee daily operations at Methode Electronics Belgium, ensuring smooth and efficient workflows.
  • Plan, coordinate, and supervise inbound and outbound goods flows.
  • Ensure time, cost, and quality targets are consistently met.
  • Supervise shop floor activities and resource allocation.
  • Manage and resolve internal and customer escalations effectively.
  • Maintain close coordination with production, procurement, and planning departments.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and process standards.


Supply Chain Strategy and Optimization

  • Align and coordinate SCM with procurement, production planning, and logistics services.
  • Implement strategic and operational purchasing processes.
  • Continuously monitor delivery performance and initiate corrective measures in case of shortages or disruptions.
  • Drive continuous optimization of supply chain processes (procurement, inventory, planning, and logistics).
  • Implement and guide LEAN methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Support and manage cross-departmental strategic projects, ensuring optimal information flow.
  • Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and profitability improvement measures.


Leadership and Team Management

  • Lead and develop a team of supply chain and logistics professionals.
  • Support HR in personnel management, recruitment, and training.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to team members to enhance performance and engagement.


Stakeholder Communication and Reporting

  • Act as the main point of contact for internal departments and external partners regarding supply chain issues.
  • Ensure clear communication between logistics, production, procurement, and sales teams.
  • Prepare and present reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), inventory levels, and process improvements.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and customers to strengthen collaboration and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Degree in economics, management, or engineering, with a specialization or significant experience in industrial Supply Chain management.
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in an industrial logistics or supply chain role, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and project management skills.
  • Natural leadership with the ability to unite a team around shared objectives.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and MS Office; knowledge of Lean processes is an asset.
  • Fluent in French and English; knowledge of German is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, diplomacy, and solution-oriented mindset.
