Microsoft Purview Azure Consultant

Our Belgium customer is currently looking for Microsoft Purview Azure Consultant to join their enterprise on a long term basis, based in Brussels with hybrid working.

Essential Skills:

• 3+ years of experience developing and deploying solutions with Microsoft Purview or similar data governance platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Blob Storage.
• Strong understanding of data governance principles, including metadata management, data cataloging, lineage tracking, and compliance frameworks.
• Experience with data integration, ETL pipelines, and data modeling to structure and organize enterprise-wide data.
• Knowledge of security and compliance standards, ensuring data governance solutions meet industry regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills, enabling collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Skills:

• Microsoft Azure certifications related to data governance, cloud security, or data engineering.
• Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI, to support reporting and analytics.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards, such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, or SOX, and their impact on data governance.
