About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused
Oncologist Doctor
to join our multidisciplinary oncology team.
This role involves diagnosing and managing patients with cancer, developing individualised treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based oncology care in collaboration with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and specialist nurses.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and stage oncological conditions using clinical assessment and diagnostic tools
Develop and implement personalised cancer treatment plans (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy, etc.)
Monitor treatment response and manage therapy-related side effects
Coordinate care within a multidisciplinary oncology team
Provide clear and empathetic communication to patients and families regarding diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options
Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation
Participate in tumour boards, case discussions, and clinical audits
Stay updated with advances in oncology, clinical trials, and treatment protocols
Requirements
Medical degree with specialisation in Oncology (Medical Oncology / Clinical Oncology / Haematology-Oncology, as applicable)
Valid medical licence to practise
Proven experience in cancer diagnosis and systemic treatment management
Strong clinical decision-making and analytical skills
Excellent communication and patient counselling abilities
Ability to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment
Nice to Have
Experience in clinical research or participation in oncology trials
Subspecialty focus (e.g., breast oncology, thoracic oncology, gastrointestinal oncology, haematologic malignancies)
Advanced training in precision medicine or molecular oncology
Leadership experience within oncology departments
