Oncologist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and patient-focused Oncologist Doctor to join our multidisciplinary oncology team.

This role involves diagnosing and managing patients with cancer, developing individualised treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based oncology care in collaboration with surgeons, radiologists, pathologists, and specialist nurses.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and stage oncological conditions using clinical assessment and diagnostic tools
• Develop and implement personalised cancer treatment plans (chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, hormonal therapy, etc.)
• Monitor treatment response and manage therapy-related side effects
• Coordinate care within a multidisciplinary oncology team
• Provide clear and empathetic communication to patients and families regarding diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment options
• Maintain accurate and compliant medical documentation
• Participate in tumour boards, case discussions, and clinical audits
• Stay updated with advances in oncology, clinical trials, and treatment protocols

Requirements

• Medical degree with specialisation in Oncology (Medical Oncology / Clinical Oncology / Haematology-Oncology, as applicable)
• Valid medical licence to practise
• Proven experience in cancer diagnosis and systemic treatment management
• Strong clinical decision-making and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and patient counselling abilities
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment

Nice to Have

• Experience in clinical research or participation in oncology trials
• Subspecialty focus (e.g., breast oncology, thoracic oncology, gastrointestinal oncology, haematologic malignancies)
• Advanced training in precision medicine or molecular oncology
• Leadership experience within oncology departments
