Senior Functional Analyst - 12-month contract - Brussels One of our important clients is currently looking for a Senior Functional Analyst for a 12-month contract based in Brussels. Day rate is negotiable. Location: Brussels (min. 2 days onsite) Languages: English + French or Dutch (other language professional level) Description We are looking for a Senior Functional Analyst to work on solutions (mobile apps, Azure cloud backend, legacy integrations). You will analyze business needs, optimize processes, and translate requirements into high-quality IT solutions. Key Responsibilities Gather and structure business requirements (workshops, interviews) Translate needs into functional specifications and acceptance criteria Model processes (BPMN / UML) and system interactions (API, sequence diagrams) Support development teams (SQL analysis, functional guidance) Contribute to testing, UAT and quality assurance Drive continuous improvement in a Lean / Agile environment Must Have 10+ years’ experience as Functional or Business Analyst Strong experience in requirements management and stakeholder communication Knowledge of APIs (REST), data modelling, SQL, JSON Experience with Jira & Confluence Fluent English + fluent French or Dutch (other language professional level) Available onsite at least 2 days/week Bachelor degree or equivalent experience At least one long-term assignment (12+ months) Start: ASAP Contract: Freelance / Consultant Duration: Long-term If you are interested please send me your CV and I will contact you as soon as possible with further details.
