Communications Specialist


NTU as consortium leader has been shortlisted for a new EU funded project in Georgia: Georgia goes Green and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

Location: Georgia.

Duration: The intended start date is 01/09/2025 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 22 months from this date.


Communications Specialist:


📌 Professional Experience:


  • 5-10 years of experience in: designing and implementing communication strategies; leading or coordinating awareness-raising campaigns and marketing activities; developing communication and visibility materials.
  • Prior experience in these areas within EU-funded or donor-funded assistance projects in Georgia is highly desirable.


🌱 Thematic Knowledge:


  • Demonstrated understanding of: environmental protection; climate change mitigation and adaptation; green transition strategies
  • Familiarity with concepts such as decarbonization, biodiversity, circular economy, and public engagement in sustainability.


🗣️ Language Proficiency:


  • Excellent written and spoken English (minimum C1 level as per CEFR).
  • Excellent written and spoken Georgian (minimum C1 level as per CEFR).


Key Responsibilities (Indicative):


  • Lead the development and implementation of integrated communication campaigns, tailored to regional and sectoral contexts.
  • Ensure campaigns are emotionally resonant, gender-sensitive, and aligned with EU visibility guidelines and branding.
  • Design communication strategies that include: stakeholder engagement plans; monitoring & evaluation frameworks; crisis communication components.
  • Produce a wide variety of digital and print materials (infographics, press kits, social media content, videos, etc.).
  • Coordinate public outreach efforts with civil society, influencers, educators, youth networks, and media.
  • Monitor and evaluate campaign outcomes using performance indicators such as VTR, CTR, CPR, and adapt accordingly.
  • Support storytelling and visibility for EU-funded environmental and climate projects through success stories and event media.
  • Ensure accessibility of materials in English, Georgian, and minority languages where relevant.
