Security Expert

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the proposal preparation of the EU funded project called: EOM 2026 and is currently seeking qualified professionals to join the project team.

The overall objective of this assignment is to:

• strengthen democratisation, good governance and conflict prevention;
• contribute to reducing inter alia the possibility of fraud, manipulation, intimidation which could undermine the electoral processes;
• improve the legal framework and conduct of future elections, as well as public confidence in the institutions;
• inform the European institutions on the conduct of elections in selected third countries.

Duration: The intended start date is 1 January 2026 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 48 months from this date.

Key Expert: Security Expert (Host Country)

Qualifications and Skills:

• Degree from military/law enforcement academy or in security OR 5+ years experience.
• Managerial and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of EOM security equipment.

General experience:

• Cat. I: 10+ years / Cat. II: 5+ years in mission security.

Specific experience:

• Coordination-level experience in EOM or similar.
• Security risk assessments and mapping.
• Mission security budgeting and planning.
• Security training delivery.
• Host country/regional experience (asset).
