Commissioning Specialist

For a major industrial project in the Antwerp port area, we are currently looking for a
Pre-Commissioning Supervisor
who will play a key role in preparing installations for commissioning and start-up.

Your responsibilities

As a Pre-Commissioning Supervisor, you are responsible for coordinating and supervising all pre-commissioning activities on site. You ensure that systems and equipment are installed, tested, and ready for handover to the commissioning team.

You will:

• Coordinate and supervise pre-commissioning activities (flushing, cleaning, pressure testing, loop checks, etc.)
• Ensure all work is executed in line with safety standards and procedures
• Monitor progress and report on planning, quality, and potential risks
• Act as the key link between construction, engineering, and commissioning teams
• Verify documentation and ensure systems meet project specifications
• Support troubleshooting and resolve technical issues on site

Your profile

• You have a solid background in mechanical, electrical or instrumentation engineering
• You are in possession of a
  valid European work permit (mandatory)
• You bring experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning or start-up phases within industrial environments (oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, etc.)
• You are hands-on, structured, and safety-driven
• You are able to coordinate teams and communicate effectively with different stakeholders
• You are fluent in
  English and Dutch
  (both written and spoken)
