DevOps Coach Expert

Nexeo Belgium is looking for a DevOps Coach – Expert to support one of the major Agile and DevOps transformation initiatives within the banking sector.

As a DevOps Coach, you will:

• Coach Agile squads on best practices for software development, testing, deployment, and delivery.
• Facilitate continuous improvement through hands-on guidance in areas such as CI/CD, TDD/BDD, Agile Testing, and Trunk-Based Development.
• Help teams adopt DevOps tools effectively and align them with delivery goals.
• Analyze existing workflows and identify bottlenecks, promoting a culture of technical excellence and autonomy.
• Act as a bridge between development teams and tool/platform owners to ensure optimal use of the DevOps ecosystem.
• Support the DevOps community across the organization and contribute to the strategic evolution of development practices.

Your profile:

• Master’s degree or equivalent by experience.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in DevOps and Agile environments.
• Proven experience in:
• Agile delivery teams (Scrum, SAFe, etc.)
• Software development (Java/Javascript)
• Implementation and coaching around CI/CD, Git, Nexus, and test automation
• Code quality and security tools (e.g., SonarQube, Fortify)
• Experience with containers (Docker) is a strong asset.
• Knowledge of mobile development tools (iOS/Android) is a plus.

You have:

• A full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) view with technical depth.
• Strong coaching, mentoring, and facilitation skills.
• An agile, proactive mindset with a focus on delivering value.
• Experience working in large-scale IT organizations, ideally in the banking sector.
• Fluency in English, and good command of French or Dutch is a plus.
