One of our global clients is looking for an experienced Level 2 IAM Support Engineer (User Access Focus) for a 12-month freelance contract (Extendable)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Level 2 support for IAM and SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) with a strong focus on user access management and operational governance
- Manage and resolve user access incidents, service requests, and provisioning issues within agreed SLAs
- Support Joiner, Mover, Leaver (JML) processes to ensure timely and accurate user access provisioning and deprovisioning
- Monitor and support access request workflows, approvals, and escalations
- Perform access modifications, entitlement updates, and role assignments in line with RBAC policies
- Support and coordinate user access certifications and periodic access reviews
- Investigate and resolve failed provisioning jobs, connector errors, and integration-related issues
- Perform root cause analysis on recurring access and provisioning issues and recommend improvements
- Maintain IAM operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with security, service desk, application owners, and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance and access governance alignment
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience supporting SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) or similar IAM platforms
- Strong experience in IAM operations, user access management, and access governance
- Solid understanding of IAM concepts: RBAC, access lifecycle (JML), access reviews, and entitlement management
- Experience handling access-related incidents, service requests, and operational troubleshooting
- Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
