Logistics & Supply Chain Director (Retail)
Location: Brussels (regular travel across 8 countries)

Role Purpose
Own inventory performance, elevate store operations, and develop teams across a multi-country retail network. Partner with stores to forecast demand, manage stock levels, and steer operational KPIs. Lead a Supply Chain Coordinator and all demand-planning activities while collaborating closely with Retail, Merchandising, Finance, and regional (EMEA) teams.
Key Accountabilities
Inventory & Demand
- Build store-level demand forecasts; anticipate commercial opportunities and secure on-time fulfillment for critical orders and launches.
- Review stock coverage weekly; collaborate with regional Supply Chain to secure allocations and replenishment.
- Design cost-effective delivery schedules to ensure timely, sufficient replenishment while controlling cost-to-serve.
- Manage external delivery partners; track SLAs, drive continuous improvement.
Store Operations
- Track and improve store KPIs (stock discrepancy, order fulfillment, receiving lead time, shrink).
- Partner with Stock Controllers and store leadership to implement corrective action plans when targets are missed.
- Animate a community of Stock Controllers across the region; enable coaching and best-practice sharing.
Team Development
- Coach and lead a Supply Chain Coordinator; foster trust, accountability, and professionalism.
- Define structure, roles, ownership, and ways of working aligned to business priorities.
- Set goals (individual/team), establish growth plans, and run regular performance and development reviews.
Product Quality & Care
- Oversee shop-soiled/defective workflows and standards across stores; ensure teams are trained.
- Guide in-store care/repair processes and after-care client interactions to uphold product longevity and brand reputation.
Profile (Requirements)
- Retail supply chain experience (mandatory) in a comparable role; multi-country exposure strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- Clear, energetic communicator; effective cross-functional collaborator (Retail, Merchandising, Finance, Regional).
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; fluent with ERP/WMS/TMS and BI dashboards.
- Strong business acumen and commercial mindset; takes initiative and drives results.
- Analytical and objective—able to represent the voice of the client through data and insights.
- Knowledge of luxury/premium product and retail operations is a plus.
