Manufacturing Equipment CQV Engineer – Antwerp, Belgium – 12+ Month Contract

Your Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of our downstream processing equipment, including filtration and purification systems.
• Ensure that their equipment is installed and operating correctly
• Troubleshoot any issues that may arise
• Documentation of the test results in the relevant test/commissioning documents according to GDP
• Perform other duties appropriate to the candidate's skills, experience and competencies as assigned
• Coordinate field activities of vendors and contractors
• Attend and lead the daily commissioning morning meetings on site
• Attend relevant project meetings
• Arrange the daily work permits
• IQ/OQ of Upstream and Downstream equipment/instrumentation
• Organize the execution of safety measures (Loto, etc.)

Your Requirements:

• You preferably have a university degree in pharmaceutical engineering, biotechnology or process engineering or a comparable subject
• 5 years of professional experience in the field of commissioning under GMP, are desirable with process systems and process equipment in production areas in the pharmaceutical or biotechnological environment
• Experience working with upstream/downstream manufacturing equipment
• You are ready to work with different departments
• You are independent and proactively prepared to do the hands-on activities
• You are fluent in English and Dutch
