Freelance Project Manager

About the Role:

We're partnering with a leading utility and infrastructure company in Belgium who are launching a major
Overhead Power Line project
. They're seeking a
Freelance Project Manager
to lead project delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring execution aligns with technical, safety, and timeline requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all phases of the Overhead Power Line project from planning through execution.
• Oversee budgets, scheduling, and progress reporting.
• Ensure compliance with technical, safety, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate between engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
• Maintain communication with contractors, grid operators, and local authorities.
• Report project status to internal stakeholders and senior management.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a
  Project Manager
  within
  construction, infrastructure, or energy
  projects.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiarity with Belgian standards and regulations is a plus.
• Experience in
  High Voltage (HV)
  ,
  Overhead Line (OHL)
  , or
  Transmission
  projects is
  preferred but not essential
  .
• Fluency in
  English, French and Dutch
  .
• Eligible to work as a freelancer in Belgium.
