About the role:

We are looking for a
Lead Project & Maintenance Engineer
for a 6
+
month onsite assignment in
the Brussels area, Belgium
.

You will coordinate technical and building adaptation projects within a production site, ensuring smooth facility operations and timely preparation for new customer contracts.

The work includes managing suppliers, supervising maintenance technicians, and ensuring infrastructure readiness for production changes.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate small industrial and infrastructure projects (room adaptations, utilities)
• Manage suppliers — requests, quotations, negotiations, and follow-up
• Supervise and support onsite maintenance technicians
• Ensure new production areas are operational and compliant
• Report progress and ensure project milestones are achieved

Skills & Experience:

• Electro-mechanical Engineering background
  with strong technical awareness
• Proven experience in project or maintenance engineering within production environments
• Strong understanding of electromechanics, utilities (electricity, water, HVAC, etc.), and facility management
• Hands-on and pragmatic project coordination skills
• Capable of managing multiple small-scale projects simultaneously
• Fluent in French (essential)
• Onsite presence required — no hybrid or remote work possible
