Otamiser is an international tech start-up based in Ghent, specialising in hotel technology. With our in-house developed algorithm, we have created the very first ranking management solution. This solution ensures that hotels are displayed at the top of the ranking on and Airbnb. We link this to dynamic pricing strategies, resulting in a staggering 24% increase in revenue for our clients.
About the role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Full-Stack Developer to help build, scale, and maintain our core web application. You will play a key role in shaping both the frontend and backend architecture while ensuring our systems remain scalable, reliable, and easy to extend as we grow.
This is a hands-on engineering role with strong ownership, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
What you'll do
Build and extend our web application using React on the frontend
Design, develop, and maintain backend services using (TypeScript)
Shape and evolve our software architecture to ensure scalability, maintainability, and extensibility
Proactively plan for infrastructure scaling, performance optimization, and system reliability as our customer base grows
Own and continuously improve our CI/CD pipelines, ensuring fast, reliable, and safe deployments
Collaborate closely with Product and Operations to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
Take end-to-end technical ownership of features — from concept and design to production deployment
Improve code quality through thoughtful code reviews, robust testing strategies, and engineering best practices
Identify system bottlenecks and proactively propose improvements across the entire stack
Mentor and support other developers, fostering high engineering standards and a culture of continuous improvement
What We're Looking For
5–8+ years of professional experience in software engineering
Strong experience building production-grade applications with React and (TypeScript)
Proven ability to design and evolve scalable, maintainable system architectures
Solid understanding of APIs, databases, performance optimization, and system reliability
Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
Experience owning features end-to-end, from design to production
High standards for code quality, testing, and engineering best practices
Ability to identify bottlenecks and proactively drive improvements
Strong communication skills and experience mentoring other developers
Comfortable operating with autonomy and technical ownership
