Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager (IAM) to lead and coordinate a high-impact Identity & Access Management (IAM) initiative within a large financial services organisation. This role requires both strategic oversight and hands-on execution, from initiation through post-implementation review. You’ll act on behalf of the Sponsorship Committee to ensure quality, timely, and budget-conscious delivery.
Your Responsibilities
Project Execution & Leadership
- Manage the IAM epic from definition to closure, ensuring successful delivery across all phases
- Direct and challenge cross-functional project teams, including external partners and stakeholders
- Monitor progress, internal/external dependencies, and milestones, and resolve blockers proactively
- Perform risk and issue management, including escalation where necessary
- Control scope changes, with formal approval and documentation for any deviations
Governance & Quality
- Produce the Project Quality Plan (PQP) to define governance, quality controls, and accountability
- Ensure all deliverables meet required quality levels in line with organisational methodology
Planning & Coordination
- Create and gain alignment on project plans and success criteria with stakeholders
- Initiate internal demand processes (e.g., QBR & QP) where needed
- Oversee project planning from inception to closure, including handover and ope-rationalisation
Ope-rationalisation & Transition
- Coordinate with ERO (Business Analyst) to embed all necessary operational and support aspects
- Prepare a comprehensive Post-Implementation Report with Lessons Learned

Your Profile
- 10+ years of proven project management experience, preferably in financial services
- Strong expertise in projects involving business processes, controls, KPIs, and governance
- Experience managing multiple large-scale projects (300–3,000 man-days) end-to-end
- Skilled in both Waterfall and Agile (Scrum, PMI, Prince2) methodologies
- Demonstrated success in managing outsourced vendor/partner projects
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and stakeholder influence skills
- Fluent in English with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Technically minded with experience in Information Security, particularly IAM
- Familiar with data management topics, and ideally with SailPoint and CyberArk
- Change management affinity is a plus
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in data centre, infrastructure, or cyber-security environments
- Familiarity with public sector or regulated environments
