About the Role

This is a full-time role for a Software Engineer/Computer Scientist. In this position you will integrate the R&D team in charge of developing the next generation HiFi flow simulation software system for industrial applications in Aerospace, Propulsion, Energy and Weather Forecasting. As part of the numerical technology group, you will extend the core solver technology towards new numerical models and physics, will conduct HPC optimization, analyze data, develop creative algorithms and innovative solutions to complex problems.

Responsibilities

• extend PrediQT's new solver numerics and algorithmics towards Aerospace, Propulsion Energy and Weather Forecast applications
• Program native GPU coding
• Test and validate your new development on verification and well documented experiments
• Participate to scientific conference in the CFD field
• Participate to scientific conference in the field of Aerospace, Propulsion, Energy and Weather Forecast
• Write documentation and scientific papers

Qualifications

We expect our team members to bring ideas, creativity and rhythm in the development of the first High-Fidelity Software for industrial and environmental flow simulations, with experience and strong background.

Education details

A PhD's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field is a prerequisite.

Required Skills

• Deep knowledge of advanced numerical methods, at the programmation level, with a focus on finite volume code
• CFD high order numerical methods, Discontinuous Galerkin type
• C, C++, Cuda, Python...
• Strong expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
• GPU architecture and native GPU programming

Soft Skills

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Creative, communicative and team working
• Experience in weather and climate science industries

Preferred Skills

• Advanced CFD numerical methods
• Cuda, kokkos parallel programming
