Wanted: Field application Engineer

We are looking for a full time application engineer to join the team in Belgium (Herentals).

Your mission: turn raw data into world-class AI. You'll be at the heart of our machine learning pipeline, gathering and curating top-tier datasets that power the next generation of intelligent food sorting systems. From hands-on lab validation to real-world performance testing in the field, you’ll bridge the gap between AI innovation and tangible impact, ensuring our models perform flawlessly where it matters most.

A willingness to travel is essential. Our application team acts as the key connection between our customers and our engineering group. They monitor customer satisfaction and translate customer needs into input for the engineering roadmap. Together with the engineering team, they help develop reliable solutions and bring them back to customers for testing, validation, and deployment.

Your profile

• Attention to detail, a quality oriented mindset to push our solutions to the next level.
• Relevant technical or science degree. Young graduates are welcome.
• Background in (food) sorting is a strong advantage.
• Willingness to travel to capture customer input and deploy new applications in the field.
• Excellent communication skills and fluent language skills in English are required
• Experience with machine learning and dataset curation is a plus. You’ll get to shape how our AI learns, from raw data to real-world performance.
