Managing Director - Benelux

RS Global Search Partners are exclusively partnering with a global freight forwarder with established offices across Europe, Asia & The Middle East. We are seeking a Managing Director to oversee the growth and expansion of the business across both Belgium and The Netherlands with an established office in Antwerp and the desire to open to an operation out of Rotterdam.

The ideal candidate will excel in both strategic and executional areas in order to implement initiatives to better the organization. In order to succeed, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on a range of responsibilities including hiring and training, implementing programs, and acting as the leader for the organization across the region.

Responsibilities

• Help lead efforts to launch the business across new areas and grow the organization
• Ensure that you have full oversight and management of the Profit/Loss
• Ability to lead the career development of self and others by attracting and retaining high performing talent
• Communicate and direct organization's conversations around priorities, goals, and organization improvement areas
• Focus on the development of existing Ocean freight business, while also looking at new markets across Road Freight & Warehousing.
• Oversee a new commercial strategy for the Benelux business

Qualifications

• Experience leading commercial operations across a Country or Benelux region
• Full P&L management
• Background of overseeing Ocean Freight nationally at minimum
• If you have a Team that would come with you this would be very beneficial specifically if they come from a sales background
