We are looking for a Research Associate for a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company focused on immunotherapies and based in Flanders (Brabant).

Your Role

As a Research Associate you perform the daily laboratory activities to analyse the efficacy, mechanism of action and the immune responses generated by the PLLAV vector vaccine. This in collaboration with in- and external professionals.

Your main responsibilities:

• Independently plan and execute in vivo studies in accordance with the applicable regulations;
• Perform a wide variety of immunological assays (ELISPOT, flow cytometry, ELISA, multiplex cytokine) and analyze the results;
• Presentation of the results and contribute to the writing of reports;
• Contribute to laboratory protocol writing.

Your Profile

• Bachelor or Master degree in Biomedical sciences/ Biochemistry/Biology/Biomedical Laboratory Technology;
• FELASA B or C certification, hands-on experience and affinity with in vivo animal models;
• Hands-on experience with aseptical sample handling and (primary) cell culture;
• Experienced in setting up and performing various cell culture assays;
• Experienced in working with infectious agents;
• English: full proficiency;
• Curious and eager to learn; detail oriented, critical mind, skilled in reporting and execution, teamplayer, hands-on, 'can do' attitude.
