As a Solution Architect, you take full ownership of our global Azure Cloud platform. You set the strategic direction, establish governance that balances agility with stability, and ensure operations remain secure, scalable, and ready for the future. In your role as Cloud Architect, you will lead the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), guide external partners, and translate cloud capabilities into clear business outcomes that make a real difference. Your impact: Strengthen Azure governance and platform standards so teams can move faster without losing control Improve operational stability with clear ITSM practices, ownership and escalations Create a high-performing CCoE team with predictable delivery and continuous improvement Tighten collaboration with Security, IAM and Network to reduce friction and risk What you’ll own Cloud strategy & platform governance (Azure): architecture, standards, scalability, security & compliance CCoE leadership: coaching/servant leadership, agile delivery, stakeholder alignment Vendor & MSP management: SLA follow-up, invoicing control, escalations, service evolution Cloud adoption & enablement: documentation, training materials, ambassador role across teams IT Service Management: incident/request, change/problem, monitoring, knowledge, CMDB Your skills: Senior experience owning or leading a large-scale Azure platform (IaaS/PaaS/serverless) Technical experience with Azure large-scale cloud platforms Strong vendor management experience (MSP + critical infrastructure) Proven people leadership in complex, international environments You translate technical capabilities into clear business value. Good understanding of ITSM (ITIL is a plus) Clear communication in English (Dutch nice-to-have) What’s in it for you An attractive compensation package with company car and benefits.
