global procurement support


Our client is offering refrigeration solutions and gas compressors and has branches all over the world .

We are looking for someone to support the Global Procurement Center by managing procurement activities related to construction, facility projects, and relocation needs while also assisting in negotiations for goods and services .

This role ensures that project-related purchasing is executed on time and cost-effectively.

You will report to the Global Procurement Manager who oversees the procurement activities for the entire group worldwide and be part of a 3-headed team.

Job


• Support the Global Procurement Center by being the point of contact for the global procurement colleagues, managing agendas and travel.


• Handle procurement activities for construction and relocation projects (contractors, services, facility set-up) and for products in general (components, services …).


• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, focusing on cost optimization and timely delivery.


• Support supplier selection, evaluation, and contract preparation for project-related needs.


• Coordinate with internal stakeholders (engineering, project management, finance) to align procurement with project timelines.


• Monitor and report on supplier performance and project procurement KPIs for the worldwide procurement activities.


• Assist the Global Procurement Center with comparative studies, benchmarking, and structured supplier agreements.


• Ensure compliance with company' s procurement policies and quality standards.


• You are available for business travel across Europe and worldwide.

Requirements


• EU citizenship (for mobility and relocation flexibility).


• Minimum 3–5 years' proven experience in procurement, ideally in construction, facility management, or industrial projects, is a plus. Experience in customer service or any other role involving direct contact with customers and/or suppliers is also valid.


• University degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or related field is desirable but not mandatory; equivalent professional experience will also be considered.


• Strong negotiation, coordination, and communication skills.


• Fluent in English (mandatory). Knowledge of one or two additional languages such as Portuguese, Spanish, Ukrainian, or Serbian.


• Good analytical and reporting skills (Excel/ERP/SAP preferred).


• Willingness to relocate for projects and to travel as needed (mandatory).


• Willingness to learn, adaptable mindset, proactive attitude, and ability to find solutions rather than problems.
