To support the company's growth, we are looking for a Senior Consultant Packaging Engineer who will be involved in the execution of activities in the Life Science sector.
Provide lifecycle packaging equipment, process technology improvement and technical support as required in alignment with current and in-process standards, including Process Performance Validation (PPV/PPQ);
Provide day-to-day Secondary and Distribution (Tertiary) Packaging material support to the supply chain;
Partner with cross-functional team (Pack site, Regulatory Affairs, Local Operating Companies, Commercial and Product Artwork) to incorporate technical requirements and labeling content, for creation of artwork;
Provide site technical support (internal and external) with packaging related quality and compliance investigations including equipment assessment, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis processes;
Lead / drive the following Transportation Study related activities for the supply chain: Physical/Simulated Distribution Testing and Temperature Control (Cold Chain) Qualification activities;
Support Shipping Route verification (SRV) related activities;
Work with our packaging sites to identify and deliver cost improvement or cost avoidance projects that result in lower unit cost. In addition, support the internal and external sites with packaging equipment and processes efficiency improvement initiatives / activities;
Evaluate and assess available or in-development technology to suit existing and new packaging processes and requirements based on markets specific regulations and patient/end user needs;
Provide technical input for primary packaging equipment, materials and packages to the Therapeutics Development and Supply (TDS) team to assure standardization and compatibility between primary/secondary packaging processes and packaging technologies.

Quality orientation.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical discipline is required. Degree in Packaging Engineering is preferred;
Minimum of 6+ years of packaging engineering and/or design, or relevant experience;
Knowledge of packaging equipment and secondary packaging material experience;
Fluent English;
Knowledge of temperature control/cold chain distribution and its application to pharma & medical device products is preferred.
Works in an international environment across different time zones
Working Hours: full time
