For this position you would be working with our client from the European institutions.

DIGIT.A.3's activities focus on the development of information systems in different domains such as document management, knowledge management, crisis management, the internal decision-making process of the Commission and the European Citizen's Initiative. DIGIT.A.3 manages the complete development

lifecycle of the information systems, including feasibility, study, business requirements, business process modelling, analysis, development, testing and deployment. Accompanying measures like training, support and the design of promotion campaigns are also managed by the unit.

Below are the details of your role and requirements.

Your role

Create business architecture models that reflect the organization's strategies and goals
Integrate the project and program strategies and ensure alignment with business strategies

and drivers, and management priorities
Identify ways to reduce costs in IT and business leadership
Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities
Conduct research to find ways to improve operations
Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance
Create and implement a business vision and multi-year plan

Who we think you are:

Experience defining and implementing strategies under a CIO or equivalent
Ability to combine many different skills and experiences to address and solve business,

information, and technology related opportunities and problems
Extensive experience with enterprise architecture best practices and goals
Excellent leadership and conciliation skills

Communications skills, both verbal (e.g.: presentations, seminars, etc.), and written (e.g.:

reports, articles, etc.)
Group session facilitation Ability to apply high quality standards
Promotion skills ("selling" the results of architectural approaches through presentations
Analysis and design
Modelling and graphical representations and abstractions

Specific Expertise:

At least 10 years of specific expertise in:

  • Experience of enterprise architecture of large-scale organizations including leading and managing large scale distributed teams from

diverse profiles.
- - Knowledge of the OECD templates and migration between
versions of them.
- - Knowledge in the IUCLID product and plugins development.
- Knowledge of IUCLID-based submission systems
- Knowledge of Food systems
- The Java programming language and single-page applications
- CQRS and Event-Sourcing architecture patterns leveraging distributed

systems like Kafka
- Continuous integration/delivery and supporting tools like Jenkins,

Azure pipelines and Github actions
- Agile methodologies and supporting tools like Confluence and Jira

Certifications:

TOGAF Certification is a plus.
