At World of Tents, our SHIELD division delivers critical shelter solutions for customers active in (civil) defence and crisis response. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Project Manager who thrives on responsibility, coordination, and creating impact in complex, international projects.

YOUR ROLE:

As Project Manager SHIELD, you will be at the crossroads between our innovative shelter solutions and our commercial frontline teams. You will take ownership of customized projects from proposal preparation to after-sales support, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards.

Your responsibilites include:

Project Management & Execution

·       Support the commercial team by preparing compelling and profitable proposals for customized projects

·       Analyze project feasibility, costs, risks, and contractual constraints 

·       Take the lead in project planning, execution & implementation, ensuring on-time & high-quality results

·       Coordinate sub-contractors & suppliers performance and logistics streams

·       Prepare/lead project progress meetings with stakeholders, coordinating between internal/external partners. 

·       Monitor financial impact, optimize profitability, and coordinate with Finance on resource planning.

·       In collaboration with P&D, identify opportunities for new product developments, pushing for innovation.

Commercial Relationship Management

·       Act as a key liaison between SHIELD, our customers, and our partners.

·       Represent SHIELD in client visits & events – positioning yourself as trusted ambassador of our brand.

·       Provide expert guidance to clients, solution design & support on custom projects.

·       Collaborate with Finance to perform thorough risk assessments for new clients & projects, while ensuring

appropriate mitigation strategies.

·       Drive sustainability initiatives, embedding eco-conscious practices in every project.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 5 years’ experience in an international operational or logistical environment. Experience with institutional/public sector clients is a definite plus.
• Skills:

Strong project management and organizational skills.

Commercially minded, with experience in price negotiations and understanding of commercial targets,

budgets & project profitability

Natural communicator who builds trust and long-term relationships.

Analytical and hands-on, able to balance strategy with execution.

• Languages: Fluency in English plus Dutch or French. Additional languages are an advantage.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel internationally from time to time
