Network Security Engineer – Fortinet

Our client, a global leader in innovative building and sustainable living solutions (3,500+ employees), is strengthening its IT organization as part of an ongoing digital transformation. The network and security team is expanding to support major modernization projects across multiple international sites.

Role

We are seeking a Network Security Engineer with strong Fortinet expertise to secure, optimize, and modernize the company’s network infrastructure. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners on key initiatives including firewall optimization, FortiProxy/FortiMail deployment, network refresh, data center renewal, PAM implementation, and vulnerability management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance Fortinet-based infrastructure (firewalls, VPN, FortiSwitch, FortiProxy, FortiMail)

• Implement segmentation, security policies, and SD-WAN

• Support data center and hardware modernization

• Troubleshoot network and security incidents

• Collaborate on Tenable, Phished, and Darktrace initiatives

• Contribute to CRM and SAP integration projects

Profile

• 3–5+ years in network/security engineering

• Strong hands-on experience with Fortinet technologies

• Solid knowledge of VPN, routing, switching

• Familiar with Tenable, Darktrace, PAM solutions

• Good understanding of Microsoft environments

• Fluent in Dutch oe French ; English is an asset
