👉 Project Description

We’re supporting a major innovation program in the railway industry, focused on enhancing the performance and reliability of embedded systems for next-generation rolling stock.

As part of this initiative, we’re looking for a Software Development Engineer with experience in embedded control systems to contribute to the development and validation of software for traction and auxiliary converters.

This is a hands-on engineering role at the intersection of power electronics, embedded software, and railway safety standards within a multicultural, collaborative environment.


As a Software Engineer, you will:

  • Design and model embedded control software for traction systems
  • Translate functional and system-level requirements into software specifications
  • Use tools like Matlab/Simulink and ControlBuild to develop and simulate control logic
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards such as EN 50657 and EN 50128
  • Support software validation, test bench execution, and field testing
  • Participate in tuning and commissioning activities on customer sites
  • Collaborate with international teams, subcontractors, and key stakeholders


👉 Your strengths

  • 2+ years of experience in embedded software or control systems
  • Strong skills in model-based design (Matlab/Simulink, ControlBuild)
  • Familiar with real-time systems and configuration management
  • Knowledge of power electronics is a strong asset
  • Structured, autonomous, and team-oriented mindset
  • Fluent in English; French is a plus
  • Willing to travel occasionally (up to 40%) for field testing and commissioning
