As a leading employer in our industry, we look for people who create exceptional value for our customers. Today, Schindler is recruiting a Project Manager for our New Installations department, focusing on large projects across Belgium.

About the position

As Project Manager you will integrate our department for New Installations. In your role you will focus on our big projects such as a shopping center, a hospital, stations and more. Within your team, based in Drogenbos, you will play a key position in successfully delivering a project to our client.

Project Administration & Budgeting:

• Manage the administrative aspects of large-scale new installation projects (e.g. shopping centers, hospitals, stations).

Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring financial accuracy and timely reporting.

• Handle material ordering and coordination with internal departments.

Client Communication:

• Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure client expectations are met through structured communication and follow-up.

Internal Collaboration:

• Work closely with the Project Coordinator, direct collegue, responsible for on-site execution and technical teams.
• Ensure smooth coordination between departments such as procurement and finance.
• Support the implementation of safe and compliant solutions in collaboration with field teams.

Process & Structure:

• Maintain structure and clarity during high-pressure periods.
• Ensure documentation and project tracking are up to date and aligned with Schindler standards.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a structured and communicative collegue with the following skills:

• You are fluent in Dutch and French (written and spoken).
• You want to keep learning and discover the elevator/escalator sector
• You have experience in project administration or project management, preferably in a technical or construction-related context.:
• You are organized, solution-oriented, and stress-resistant.
• You are known for your strong team spirit and collaborative mindset.
• You have excellent communication skills with both clients and internal stakeholders.
