Introduction / General Purpose:
We're seeking a Senior HR Manager for Central Europe (CE - BeNeLux and DACH) to join a global Food Manufacturing company. This pivotal role supports the continued growth of the CE organization across six countries. As the HR Manager, you'll implement and adapt HR policies, strategies, and initiatives, aligning them with the overall business strategy. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in management and leadership development within CE as part of an international management restructuring aimed at balancing growth between the US and EU markets.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic business partner within the CE management team.
- Lead organizational design and transformation to meet set targets.
- Develop and monitor HR strategies, systems, and procedures.
- Support performance-driven and entrepreneurial culture.
- Manage the full employment cycle and ensure legal compliance.
- Develop recruitment and retention strategies.
- Implement leadership development and succession planning.
- Enhance employer branding and employee satisfaction.
- Facilitate open communication and resolve conflicts.
- Coach and mentor local HR teams for operational excellence.
Profile Description:
Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Master's degree or equivalent
- Minimum 8 years HR experience in mid-sized industrial companies
- Very good knowledge of Dutch and English; French and/or German is a plus
Technical Competencies:
- Good knowledge of Belgian social law; knowledge of other countries' laws is advantageous
- Experience with change management is desirable
